• The FinTRACA is in department operating under the Da Afghanistan Bank Service Authority
• The FinTRACA is reporting to the Supreme Council of Da Afghanistan Bank
• Within the FinTRACA, the FIU functions are discharged  by the Financial Intelligence Division
• The Financial Intelligence Division has three components: The Compliance Unit, Administration & Information Technology Unit and Analyses and liaison Unit
